Custom Song Recordings
Whether it's an original Azalea song you'd like to hear re-imagined, a cover of another artist's song, or a new song written specifically for you or a loved one, nothing is off the table! Send us an email and we'll discuss your project.
This is really an experiment for us to see what kind of interest there is out there for this kind of art. And in an effort to facilitate that, these custom song recordings are "Pay What You Want". We'll be prioritizing higher budget requests and there may be limitations on what we can deliver for lower budget requests. However, it's our goal to try to creatively offer something for every budget. So if you'd like to join the experiment, drop us a line HERE.
A Deer in the Road
We’re so happy we have this audience of people to share all the fun things we do with our music. Whether that’s a livestream, a live event, or new music being released. But sometimes, other life things happen and we don’t really talk about them much. Often, it is because we find it is enough for us to process them with our family and our closest friends. Sometimes though, these other life events need to be shared, because a collective processing of them can sometimes help. Read on, if you’re curious.
Friday, June 21 was a strange day for our family. A lot of little things happened during the day. Things like, stubbing our toes, spilling our drinks, dropping food on the floor, etc. etc. A lot of these things are normal things that happen on occasion, especially with a 20 month old. If we’re honest though, they don’t happen to us every day, all the time. Friday was definitely an exception (Could it have been the full moon that night 🤔)! That same evening we had plans to drive up to Benjamin‘s parents place because we had to be somewhere early, in that area, in the morning. We got our house ready, and locked up, placed our sweet little boy in his car seat, (he was already asleep and transfers like a pro), and we went on our way to get from Hamilton to Niagara-On-The-Lake. At this point, we thought, maybe all the weird stuff is done with? We will get to our destination, have a nice rest and get to our tasks in the morning!
Little did we know that there were something else in store for us. We were only about 10 minutes away from our final destination on a dark road when we struck a deer…. It’s hard for us to even write those words because we feel so sad for the animal that was lost. But it happened, and there was nothing we could do. Thankfully, all three of us are okay - no one was injured. Our vehicle took the brunt of the damage. So, here we are nearly a week later, processing the event in our own ways, continuing on with life, and dealing with insurance (and a way higher than we thought deductible 😅).
That’s life! Ain’t it folks?
